Trying to sex my 6" G.iheringi so take a look at this pic's and let me know what you think. After what i have understood i would say female here, but i'm by far a expert using this method:

At this size, have you looked for spermathecae? They should be quite visible.

I know that i can look at the spermathecae, but the last molt was totaly destroyed, and thinking about mating it. Have a MM available so what to know if this one is a female or male.

What do you guys think?

Yep, looks like a female to me as well. And a fine one at that. I'd be curious to see what she looks like dorsally, I'm not familiar with that T

Do you think she would be ready to mate, i have a MM about the same size as her, about 6". He has had his ultimate molt and made a sperm web.

When was the last time she molted? I'd breed her anyway unless it's been like 9 months-1 year after her last molt.

I'm not all that good with the long words and
proper terms, but it's suppose to be the actual slit here in that section
and also the appearance and length of it, and also what's in between...
this is what I've heard and read about... to be sure of the sex.

Its been quite some time since the last molt, molted last time in the end of 2007 so its about 16-17 months. I dont think the male will last untill the female has molted, she is still eating good and no sign of premolt.

The male moltes his ultimate molt about 5 months ago.
