Sex the tokay!

We bought a CB unsexed juvie tokay a little while back and we're not completely sure of the sex. There doesn't seem to be those pores that indicate a male, but it barks quite often. I'm not sure if maybe juvie females do this too? We're buying a big exo-terra on Thursday so that we can start up a small communal (we're thinking a male and two females), so we need to know what sex this one is so we can look into getting others. S/he's 9" head to tail.

Hopefully this picture is good enough, if not let me know and I can try to get one that's more straight on. Thanks in advance

omg cass I'm so jealous of your tokay. I posted a want ad on kijiji and this shady person contacted me about selling his tokay. He claims it's captive bred and is super rushing me to go pick it up tonight (which I can't because I have a meeting at 8 30-10ish) and he lives 40 minutes away!!! Anyways, the pic he showed me was clearly pulled off googleimages (i found it) so I'm not gonna purchase the animal.

You're too funny, haha. I wouldn't buy that tokay either from that ad...it sounds sketchy. I don't think our supplier does...he lives in Ottawa and wouldn't ship, a friend of mine brought it home for me when she came home from school over Thanksgiving. He only had like 3 or so. Just keep looking, you'll find one eventually I'll keep an eye out for you.

Id say 90% percent of tokay's are wild caught because its easier to catch them than to breed them. Most tokay's you see in stores are WC here in the U.S. and from Hawaii, their everywhere there.unless it's from a reputable breeder and they can show you CB young or eggs.I would assume it's WC

Thanks everyone, we suspected female, but we wanted to get second opinions. The last thing we want would be to get a male, thinking we had a female, and then end up with a dead tokay because we actually had a male to begin with.
