My camera sucks... It won't focus closer than a foot away. I had to digitally crop the photo so it looked bigger. Bear with me on the quality. I did my best with what I have.

These are both the same T.

I thought that too. I also looked at the exuvium, as it just molted a few days ago, and I thought I could just barely make out the spermathecae. Wasn't sure though, because the molt was so very small and crumpled up in that area. It is only about 3".

mine just molted as well and is probably around 2.5" (I'm guessing, I haven't seen my ruler in months lol) and I couldn't find a spermathecae on the molt, and theres a 'dot' ventrally, so i'm assuming mines male, and yours looks different then mine

+1 for female... although without clearer pictures it's even more of a guess than normal.

How big is the T, if its around 3" IMO it's to small to sex ventrally. If it's 4"+ post a pic of the dorsal pattern on the abdomen.

I'm thinking female, but I've had very little practice. I want to see what it matures into to see if I got it. :D

Call me crazy, but I have a T I'm pretty sure is female and I'm actually BUMMED(!) {D I wanted "him" to breed with another hobbyist's female who had traits that I liked and do a 50/50.. hoping I'm wrong about this spider.

Lol, I'd consider you somewhat lucky. I get almost all males! This is my first female-assuming it really is female. I'm pretty sure it is. The patterns on it are much more vibrant than the male P. regalis I raised from a sling.

Imo you are wrong. They can be sexed pretty easily under 3". I actually find it easier to sex them smaller. Once the colors and patterns start to kick in it often gets harder to sex them imo.

In this case the pictures suck pretty bad so I am not anywhere near 100% on the sex.
