Sex my Crested Gecko

Approx 6 month old R. ciliatus. I am new to the geckos so sexing unless they are very mature is not easy for me.

Unfourunately, the pores I really need to see are too blurry and are a bit to far away to be seen. (even with photoshop)

I'll try again tomorrow with sunlight rather than artificial. That and it was a squirmy little sucker. What are you looking for so I can take a better shot?

Hi,

If you try to bend it's tail toward it's back (veeery gently), you can see the testacles (If it has any).
The photo is not the best, but I would say female than male. Drop some better pics!

if its a 6 months old specimen...i agree with bengerno that it should be a female.

I am tempted to say you have a female as well, but sometimes male can devlop late.

The preanal pores are what you want to get a good look at.

This page explains it better. I have several books that explain how to sex them in detail with this, but I don't have any good photos of my own on that.
