Well, not me - my B. boehmei.

I posted some pics of the last molt in the proper gallery and only got one reply. New molt (that's my announcement, see?), new pic, and I'm curious to know what someone other than myself sees...

The old molt:

I'm afraid you posted this in the wrong spot. None the less that is a nice girl you have there. Congrats.

Where would you post it? The "Sexing" section only lets you add things to the sexing galleries, which IME not that many people peruse or respond to.

I could put it in "Pictures" but the photographic merits aren't really the point of the post.

I could put it in "Questions and Discussion" but it's more of a personal thing than a broad discussion, and I don't like to see that forum get too cluttered.

I figured I'm announcing (in a roundabout way) that my T molted again, and that I took pictures, and that I'm pretty sure the one person who replied to my post in the sexing gallery last time was wrong - though I'm curious for other input. :)

If they said male then they were wrong. I agree with you that sometimes it takes a while to get a response in the sexing section. I personally dont care where anyone posts. I'm sure I've posted in the wrong place a time or two.

To add to my comment above. The first picture you posted was pretty low quality and made it very difficult to tell. The new picture is very clear and makes it very easy to tell. Plus depending on the size of your T makes a difference too. But you definately got you a girl there.

She's still pretty small. The first molt I posted was from when she was only about 1.5". I could see what I thought might be the start of a flap on it, but I didn't know if that was just wishful thinking. My uncertainty is what made me try to take a pic of what I was seeing and post it in the first place.

This new molt was much more cut and dried, but after the last go-round where I only got one response from someone who was certain it was male, I wanted some backup.

I could see where someone would get male from the first pic (unless you look really close), but in the second pic there is no question.

Agreed 100 %. At first glance of the first photo I thought male. The second photo clearly say female. Its probably due to the small size in the first photo.
