Sex determination in P. audax

Does anyone have any ideas on how to sex my audax's. I know how to sex them, but not how to make them sit still for more then a millisecond once I coax them outta their homes. They simply move around too much to get a good look at them.

So any novel ideas anyone? I thought about trying to knock one out for a while with some FlyNap but I dont want to risk killing any of my little beauties.

I've not yet tried this, but the idea looks good.
