How many can say they got their Highschool senior picture with their tarantula? I didn't have much hope that the portrait studio would let me bring my "poisonious" "creepy crawly" for a photo shoot (even if it is a docile G. Rosea). I asked the receptionist girl, "Would you consider a tarantula a family pet?"
and she responded "What do you mean?"
"Its like a large spider"
"Oh...a spider? Hold on let me ask the photographers."
Luckily there was a photographer there who got really exited that I was going to bring a tarantula. This studio has photographed different reptiles and animals, but never a tarantula. He took more pictures of the tarantula and I than any of the other poses, and he even held her at the end! Anyway, I'm really exited because he got some really good photos and I got him interested in the hobby! {D

Yeah, I'm really lucky my photographer was so enthusiastic about the whole thing. I'll be getting the proofs sometime next week so I'll post acouple. Those pictures weren't for my yearbook picture, just the extra fun pics.

I can't wait to see them. My daughter wants to get her senior pics with my rosie on her face. Hopefully the studio she wants to use will let her.

I got the proofs in yesterday and am really happy with how they turned out. :) The pink highlights could have been captured better, but I won't complain.

Beautiful pictures however I did laugh at the last picture, it's very cute. It reminds me of that Depeche Mode song back in the 80's "Reach Out and Touch Faith".

Thanks everyone! I haven't started my Senior year yet, but the school wants photos before the school year starts so they can get yearbook pictures. I was really lucky to get such an enthusiastic photographer.
