Whoa....

I've never seen, or even heard of this species before this thread to the best of my recolection, but I think I'd recall it if I had... AWESOME spider!! Good pics too! I think I just found another "must have" T!! What's the husbandry for these like? They hard to keep, or prone to problems molting, or anything like that?

Here's what an ultimate male Selenocosmia hainana looks like. This specimen is approx. 6".

Thank's all of you! S hainana is an asian species. Mine is from the south of China. It's close related to Haplopelma schimdti. I got three of these a few weeks ago, but I've sold two of them. In the area where they were collected it's a rather hot day temperature and pretty chilly nights. So I try to keep it that way. I hope shes gravid, her abdomen is really big(for a selenocomsia).

Thank's again and excuse my bad english.

So closely related, that they might be the same species!

I have one arriving next week, along with the normal "gold" H schmidti. I will post plenty of pictures for comparison.

Hopefully, I will get tree or four H schmidti in the end of October. I'll post some pictures as well by then.
