Second Spider Randomly Appeared in Black Widow Terrarium?

to be clear it’s the third spider. last night i felt a house spider on me(about 1/8 of an inch)

so i caught it and put it in my windows terrarium and everything was cool all night and day today, until an hour ago(24hrs later) i see what resembles a same size spider as my black widow

my terrarium has pinholes only ants and juveniles etc could escape from and has a magnetic top

i feed her a beetle last week btw

any information on how this could possibly happen?

It’s not a second spider, your widow just molted is all. What you see is the shed exoskeleton.

it did look like an exoskeleton based on its back but i wasn’t sure. never had a widow do this before. thanks!
