Very neat little guys and fun to watch. Just be very careful as they desiccate very easily! They like dubia nymphs BTW.

Am I the only one in the lower 48 that doesn't have Scutis running about? If you happen to find them in near epidemic numbers...:drool:

heh......yeah i'm in south fla. in the 22yrs ive been here never seen any.wayy too warm for them....i think:rolleyes: maybe up further north fla? not sure. i would love to get the giant tropical sp.

John, I can get some for you as they are pretty active for the next few weeks here in Spokane. All i need to do is post an add on Craig's List and people will catch them for me.

I'm keeping one of those! What I'm doing with mine is basically a large(Very very large) container used to be from cheese balls(cleaned out-- obviously) poked 4 holes(one on each side-- i guess for minimal ventilation to keep humidity in?). I put in two crickets after a week it ate them. Now I put in two rolly pollies. I saw it ate one. Ill be getting some crickets tommorrow. I see that t hey don't eat cricket legs. So may wanna take those out.
