First one I've ever seen in this house. These guys give me the willies more then anything else .....ever since the "shower towel" incident. I've never actually looked up close at them before, and they aren'y nearly as intimidating as all those wriggling legs make them seem. Love the stripes and am slowly becoming a centipede fan. :D

i dont suppose anyone knows what one this is?



It was found in Oakville, Southern Ontario. Under logs in a woodland near a river. the bottom of the container it is in is about 1+1/4 inches.

Id say you are right sir. L. forficatus, I know nothing about pedes, but the other species in this genius look nothing like what i found. Thanks a million
