Hi

Tonight I found this strange creature in my studio, one that I never saw before. I usually don't have any insects in home but occasionally roaches come in "visiting" from the garbage shaft.

Though I'm not whatsoever familiar to the insects world, thanks to the Internet I identified (100%) the captured creature whithin 5 minutes but the descriptions confused me. I couldn't find occurences of this insect in Europe (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=Scutigera+coleoptera+europe), only North America. I should specify I'm from Romania, SE of Europe.

Is it anything strange about this creature being here? Like I said, I never saw such a thing here in my life!

Thanks.

They're pretty uniform. They're kind of like cellar spiders or cockroaches...you find them all over the world.

I see.

I suppose I should set it free, right? I hear they feed on roaches :)

And thanks for the warm welcome ;)
