Screened cage 4 Tokay?

I was wondering if Tokays will do well in one of those screened cages they sell 4 Chameleons & Cresties? I am thinking about getting 1 or 2 tokays and the Petstore owner said some people keep tokay's in those screened cages. Also are tokay's pretty shy or are they pretty good at being out on display at night since they are nocturnal? AnyOne know were I can find a good caresheet on them?

Tokay geckos will do fine in screened cages. Just make sure that there are places in there to hide just like you'd do for any other animals. When you buy them though make sure you don't have more than one male per cage. You can check for bulges near the cloaca. If u see em then you have a boy if not its a girl. Though in babies u can't tell. Also Tokays can be nippy and will draw blood if they bite ya. Just be sure that the temp in the room doesn't drop below 75 or so and they should be fine. Make sure to mist them before the lights go out and in the morning, they're dew lappers and get all their moisture in this manner.
