Scorpion flipped himself on his back and hasnt gotten back up. Help.

Not much to say really. He just turned ovee and started hanging uoside down by the piece of wood above him and kept landing in his back for a while but now hes stayed like this for a few hours. Not sure if its a sign of molt so I havent messed with him ither than moisture around his enclosure keeping clear from him. Ive seen some others post similar moments like this with asian forest scorpions but I wanna make sure hes alright. His humidity is usually 70 and temperature is always around 80°.

This is a little late but unfortunatly he did pass away. I left him for around 4 hours thinking he was molting in a weird way but eventually I stressed out too much and tapped his leg a little and got no response. Fast forward and even now im getting no response.

IIRC, only Buthids are the only ones that molt in the supine position. If an Emperor or AFS are found lying on their back it is a serious issue or it's dead.

The first pic is what I started with but eventually changed out the substrait and took alot of the moss out cause someone said it looked bad and later I changed out the bark tunnel for a smaller one.

I doubt it since he kept hanging upside down from this small branch. Its only an inch from the substrait.

Regarding the lid, If it fell from the other side where the distance is larger , yes.

The bark? Not likely.

Not likely since it was the spot the arrow is touching. Ide like to get another later on but next time it wont be from a store like petsmart which is where my friend bought him and giften him to me.
