After what seemed like an eternity i finally got a P. metallica! And what a deal it was. 60€ for a sexed 10 cm (4") female with an equiped enclosure (which I'll be redoing tomorrow) And she really is a beauty.

Amazing price for everything. I'd have been like "white on rice", for a deal like that.
I like my pokies, but not willing to spend the going price of a sling in the U.S. They're available year round, smallest pokie and blue, guessing thats what keeps the price high, plus add shipping costs. Last ones I bought cost $75 total, 5 P. tigrinawesseli slings @ 1.5" dls.

You made a deal, indeed. But 'Pokies' (talking about 0.1, Theraphosidae only) aren't high priced in Europe, especially compared to the US/Canada T's price insanity.
Refused, since i'm not that into arboreals, four 0.1 'Pokie': P.metallica, P.regalis, P.ornata, P.striata for 200 Euro.
So 50 Euro for one, not bad but i prefer P.muticus and other OB.

It's deffenetly not as clear as it should be. The camera is focused on super close so it's hard to take a pic without getting a messy blur.

Metallicas are quite expensive . At least way more expensive to the other pokies round here. Got some regalis slings for 7€ each (and the dealer let me sex them and even helped doing so) a few months back.
But you gotta remember that i bought it with an enclosure so that's extra ~20€
