Scolopendra Heros Castaneiceps Colorado Local Found

After many hours of driving, hiking, flipping stones and research, I successfully located a Scolopendra Heros in Colorado. I have been able to find almost no info on S. Heros being in the state and I believe this may only be the second report of this species being here. Finding a centipede never made me so happy. I hope to share more info and better photos soon.

Yes, it was found not far from La Junta Colorado. You may or may not remember, but over two years ago I posted a thread asking advice on finding one of these that you had commented on. Crazy how things work out haha.
