Hello, I'm raising scolopendra angulata angulata 15cm.

I'm really wondering the max size of the angulata

As far as I know, it can reach to 10-inch (25cm) ~ 12 inches (30cm)

is it true? really so? 20130301_225232.jpg 20130301_225216.jpg

I have no personal experience with the Guyanese Blue Footed Centipede (Scolopendra angulata angulata) but some research i did on the subject suggests that it grows to a maximum of 6-7 inches and that it has an above average girth for it's length. As an aside, I'd provide it with a much larger enclosure to live in than the one displayed in your photos. Good luck.

Wow! It looks JUST LIKE my Scolopendra polymorpha. They also max out at about this size.

I think 7" maxxx is a safe bet, idk about this 12" or even 10" stuff. I just got my first pair and they are both 5". These centipedes are excessively docile I should add, more so then most New World centipedes.
