So there is a science company I have ordered many kits for animals, as well as live animals. Some of the kits are improper and contribute to animals dying, and some animals they sell they give wrong care instructions or animals are wild caught full of diseases and die.

I write reviews either explaining why some kits are not proper setups, and why some animals should not be purchased or proper way to care for them.

My negative reviews for the public to read were rejected, nobody will know the truth! I think this is bad for the company to not show bad reviews, plus inhumane treatment of certain animals, if they won't be responsible and only give proper care instructions, they shouldn't sell them!

What should I do, they won't post my review, and yes I'm not buying the products, but I feel bad for all those animals being abused.

Negative reviews ARE bad for the company because then people won't buy their stuff so they will lose money. They won't want a bad review on their page.
If it truly is inhumane, contact the ASPCA or something for an inspection of their animals?

I honestly don't know what to tell you without knowing the name of the site.
There are a lot of bad places out there.

It's called Carolina Biological, they ship items to Schools or home use.

One example is they ship live frogs used for dissection. This is cruel first and foremost the frogs must endure stress from shipping, then they tell to use a sharp scissor to cut the head off the live frog before dissection, that is terribly cruel! They sell preserved frogs for dissection, at least this route nobody has to kill them and they won't go through unnecessary stress before dying. They should stop selling live animals for dissection.

They also sell animals for pets. They sell Green Anoles, what they don't tell people is these are wild caught and full of parasites and most die. They suggest putting anoles in a critter keeper with twigs as a setup, they need UVA/UVB lighting and proper temperature, a critter keeper just leads to a slow death! They also sell wild caught newts that are full of parasites and multiple people I know complained about it but the company refuses to stop selling them.

They have kits involving critter keepers saying tadpoles and African clawed frogs live in these there whole life, anyone who owned them knows they must have filtration and more space with temperature moniter, or water quality deteriorates or they get cold and die.

There are more animals they sell for killing or pets that aren't treated humanly or give wrong husbandry instructions leading to the animals death.

I think they should change their ways.

Send a registered letter to the company and CC to any relevant anti cruelty and relevant government entities you can think of. At the top of the letter list all recipients. Cite your concerns and include references to published white papers if possible. Possibly, you could also send a CC to newspapers.

Be aware, even if you are entirely correct with your concerns you can still be sued for causing the company a loss of income. I brought this to the attention of the owners of AB regarding posts of questionable animal sales outlets, that they should have a publicly displayed disclaimer so they don't get included in law suits.

I saw a large company post a new product once.. the "Micro USB fish tank" which is "perfect for bettas and other fish like goldfish."
I spent nearly an hour writing a large review explaining how this is actually a very bad decision to buy and keep fish in, and when I posted it, the company removed it within ten minutes without explanation why. I am not going to say any names because that is against the rules and I don't want to get in trouble, but let's just say the name of the company is a synonym with the phrase "envision nerd."

now that's not to say I hate their site and will never buy from them. I actually very much enjoy their products and they have very fun things, but when it comes to the product in question, I would say they are being a bit hostile

unfortunately, as invertebrates and reptiles arent covered by many laws concerning animal cruelty, they will continue to get away with it.

Do you post reviews on youtube? They cannot sue you for simply telling the truth. And if they DMCA you, you can actually sue THEM. Many people have been pwned and forced to upload a youtube apology!

just be careful what you say. Remain neutral, and they cannot sue you. Better yet, take them to the people's court :p
