Two spot assassins mating has to be the silliest affair I've ever seen. 
I know I've allready started a thread today but this was too bewildering for even me.
I was preparing to sleep and turned out most the lights when I heard the most ungodly sound. I turned to look for it and couldn't find the source. I saw two writhing insects in the dark and it turned out to be the little assassins. They were wriggling all over the place but clearly with no intent of harming the other. One was attatched to the other in some way and the one on top was moving his legs very fast on the other's back making a bizarre scraping noise. Have you ever had this? All three are doing this! It's weird!
They proceeded to pounce on each other willy nilly with no interest in the crickets whatsoever and repeat this gesture either falling off or sticking for a minute or so. Every time with the random screechy rubby weird noise!
Has anyone else had this experience? It's mad!
