thanks, i found the pics my mom took of my caterpillar, but there not focused at all. i cant wait until spring for my moths to emerge again :razz:

Please keep your "used" cocoons. They are ornamental in their own right.

And,if you can accumulate a lot of them,their silk can be handspun...

And I would just love to.

ive kept my cocoons so far, and i have thought about spinning there silk into fabric, if only i knew how to do that, lol. hopefully next year i'll have a surplus of moths and so more cocoons

excellent.
i used to breed the heck out of these Cecropia.

it was more fun breeding my Atlas moths..but Cecropia are one of my top saturnid faves.
