just bought some sani-chips at a reptile show.

I'm using them with my corns, and also, i just got done rehousing my sand boas with sani-chips. has anyone had problems with compactions using this stuff with sand boas?

Ive never used that stuff for my sand boas, but in any case, dont feed the snake in the substrate and you wont have impaction problems :)
I feed mine in a tupperwear in the cage. When its done eating it can push up the lid and crawl out. (dont click the lid on tight of course)

I use it and it works great. especially when my snakes poo, it'll just clump together so all you have to do is pick up the clump and trash it.

just don't let your snake eat the stuff.

My cornsnakes are using it too, and i'm not too worried about them as i feed them outside of their cages.

it's just my sand boas, i'm worried that while burrowing through the chips, they'll get some jammed in their mouth and accidently swallow them.

my hognose like to burrow a lot and he doesn't have any problem with them.
