I have a Kenyan Sand Boa baby and her cage is next my Beardies cage and my Beardie has a 60 watt lamp heating it. Is that enough heat for her?

Do you mean the heat from the existing bulb, or from a bulb like it that you're thinking of installing? How warm is the room? How warm is the lizard cage? It's enough heat if it heats it up enough, which is to say, it's impossible to tell without additional information.

I would give the Kenyan some undertank heat as well. But it would be hard to say without knowing what the current temp is.

If you get a heating pad, get the kind from Wal-Mart that goes for like $9-10. Set it on low, and make sure you get the kind that doesn't have the auto shut-off feature. It will be in the section near the pharmacy where people get stuff like knee braces and humidifiers and stuf like that. Make sure you watch the substrate temperature and adjust accordingly. Meaning, the ambient (room) temp should be about 75 degrees, and you can either decrease/increase the depth of the substrate until the surface temp is at the proper level.

I keep the hot side of my Kenyans tanks at 90-92ish. Then no heat anywhere else. Works perfectly for them. (hotter if theyre gravid)

Definately get a heat pad for these guys as they will need more heat than your ambient room temps provide. Sand boas, being under the substrate 99% of the time do best with belly heat and it's much easier to control.
