On the trunk of a dead papaya tree for the past two days there has been roughly 15 jumpers engaged in every possible silliness. Battles with each other, romance in the air, chasing each other around, and since that's a fresh composting pile of garbage, numerous leaps and chow downs. I've never seen so many of them, all within about a 2 foot square area and in maximum hyper overdrive.
The fail is our Nikon D3400 just isn't focusing and capturing anything. The light is dim and I'm a royal putz at operating the little beast. And figuring out the settings. If anyone knows these species of cameras and how to coax them into grabbing focused close up videos of these critters darting about I'd be much obliged and would be delighted to read up on it. I'm reasonably certain I've got the settings wrong and I haven't licked the lens or done similar stupids.
