salted roaches

My GF wants to put salt around different areas of the house, lets just say for superstitious reasons. Will having salt scattered all over my house attract any unwanted guests (ie. roaches, ants, any other loose critters about)?

I don't think so. Crickets however are demon spawn from hell. Because of that they wouldn't be able to enter or escape a room if all the doors and window ledges were salted.

I don't know... there's a very good chance that ants could be attracted to it... we've had ants get into some pretty weird things before. And roaches will eat anything, so who knows... I might actually try it with some of mine, jus tto see what they do...

That being said... is this for real?
