Well, I got home this morning and I did everything that you all told me to do except for the changing of the environment he was in. I didn't do that yet because I am not sure he is going to make it. I put my rose hair in ICU but I don't think he is going to make it at all. The reason I know this is because when I picked him up he was lifeless. No movement what so ever and I checked to see if he was matured. Yep he was. I will keep him in ICU til I go back into work tonight and if there is no change then I can only assume that he has passed. :( Thanks to those who helped me last night. I really appreciate it. :worship: I will keep you all updated.

If he is not moving at all, try to use a medicine dropper to slowly and gently feed him water. Just lightly drip it onto his mouth.

It sucks. Matured males don't live too long. But now you know all the right things to do with tarantulas you have all the information you need to start over. Tarantulas are great. I hope a bad first experiance doesn't sour you to the hobby. Good luck. :D

Thanks! No it didn't. If anything it made it that much more interesting for me. I've learned a lot over the past few weeks about T's. I really want another one but I want to make sure my set up is right this time around and be sure that the next one I get is some what of younger T. That way I can see for myself how they molt and grow and get to know the personality of that particular T. All of them are different. Just around here where I live they are not that popular. Have to wait and see what I get in from the pet store I frequent. Thanks to every one that gave me the advice. I really learned a lot. :worship::)

You might want to look at this thread for your purchasing options. You will have a WAY wider selection of T's to pick from, younger, and better cared for. http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/forumdisplay.php?f=24. AND if you are lucky like me and many others, you will get a freebie with your order. I got a free Brachypelma Emilia with my order.
