A couple questions for you L. trivirgata keepers.
I saw a nice desert rosy boa in the local herp shop today and am thinking of picking it up soon. I've looked at care sheets and have everything necessary for keeping one but the temperature/humidity thing is making me question my decision to buy this snake.
I'm wondering if keeping this species at a constant temperature in the upper 80s Fahrenheit would cause any problems. I only have one small closet in which to keep snakes and providing a proper gradient, thanks to the cool ambient temps in the building, is extremely difficult. The constant temps have seemed to work great for my ball python and Colombian boa but they're very different snakes so I'm just kind of curious.
If the above scenario isn't ideal, how would keeping the rosy in an area with high-60s to very low-70s ambient temp with an UTH do?
Thanks for any advice.

EDIT: I kind of forgot the humidity part of the questions. In the closet the humidity remains high due to the two snake enclosures currently kept there. In the main part of the apartment I imagine the humidity will get quite low this winter. Low humidity = good things for rosies but are they good coupled with the low temps? What about with the higher temps of the closet?
