My Rosie is having trouble with climbing her cage and getting stuck in the cracks of the lid. If that sounds right? She stays on the ground mostly. But when ever she climbs she gets stuck and I haft to take apart the lid and get her out. What is her problem?

Is the substrate too damp if it is thats probably why its trying to climb...i suggest you put more substrate in it so in case it falls it would have a lower possibility for it to die..

What is she living in?
Raising the substrate would be a good thing.
How about a different type of container?
Just make sure, if you raise the substrate, that she can't pop off the lid:eek:

Try a bone dry substrate with a water dish. My rosea won't tollerate any damp.

As has been pointed out, it's very likely that the T doesn't like the substrate (and moisture levels are a very good possibility). For instance, I've got a G. alticeps that likes things very dry, when things are even slightly moist for whatever reason, it's on the side of the container until things dry out. There is also the possibility you've got a mature male but that's easy to rule out.

The getting stuck part is an effect of what I assume is a wire mesh lid along with nothing high enough that the T can get any leverage to unstick its tarsal claws. Raising the substrate is the simplest solution to this one. Many keepers subscribe to the rule of never having more space betweens substrate and lid than the T's outstretched legspan - this not only keeps the T from getting stuck, but also minimizes the risks for a fall.

Its very dry...

It stays on the ground mostly. It will climb the glass about every 2 weeks and get stuck. I dont like to handle her because she likes to bite. And the substrate is very high. I raised it since she started to climb. SHE is a very nice T in all, but just likes to pretend shes an aboreal when shes bored I guess...
