Honestly, I am not trying to get yet another debate about watering going. Just food for thought.
After some time with no water. I filled his water and he dove in and layed in it for around 40 minutes. Prior to this he was refusing food. After he resumed feeding.

It's not unheard of for a dehydrated T to refuse food. It doesn't make much sense to me because they get lots of hydration from their food anyway. Maybe they need liquid water to aid digestion or something... ?

I have seen my 2 Rosies and my Smithi assume the position over their water bowls, none of my other T's though. Still, does show the importance of having a water dish available at all times.

It appears there is a sperm web right behind him... sperm producing males drink often and long.

You are correct. it is a sperm web. Never gave that any thought but I am sure that would take alot out of them and would need replaced. Have also noticed they are not feeding as regular as the females.
they all have new homes monday. All except the mother anyway. Decided I dont need 7 rosea's.
