My rose hair is in a mood and has been that way for a week now. She won't let me hold her. She has built a pile with her web and pieces of bark and won't leave it for long. I will open the cage and she acts like she is going to strike. She hasn't but I leave her be. What has she put in that pile that she protects so much? I sure would like to know so I know if she has laid eggs or something. I have had her for a month. She has always been very passive in the past. She did fast just before she built this pile. Please help. I would like to talk on instant message, AOL, or Yahoo. :?

My Rosie did that.......
T's do strange things all the time.
Every so often my T removes the top layer of web and
substrate out of her hide, then makes a new feeding web.
T house cleaning I guess
For the last 2 weeks she has been webbing up her enclosure.
She's NEVER done that befor either. So, I think she may molt very
soon. She hardly eats, my other T's all eat like pigs!

Take out your tongs and move a little off of the top of the pile and see what's in there! I suppose it COULD be an eggsack, but crocodiles bury them in compost heaps, not Ts!!!
But, it's a rosie, anything can happen with them! After you look, let us know what's in there!!!
