I was searching the forums looking for information on Chaerilus celebensis and came across a post about how they can be kept like emperor scorpions but at a cooler temperature.

So it got me thinking what other species of scorpions can be kept without additional heating. So far in the search I see Chaerilus and Euscorpius genus. Any other suggestions? Or if the info I found in search is wrong / outdated please let me know, I have no problem setting up the heat pads etc if needed

Heterometrus sp. mine are probably H. silenus or H. laoticus, possibly one each.

i have been keeping 2 scorplings for a while around 1,5 years and they have molted twice so far.

i keep them at about 19-20° all winter, rising slowly to a max of up to 28°C in summer.

considering i have been advised to keep Scolopendra dehaani below 22°C and thats been working well for the same amount of time it isn't all that surprising.

If you look up some of the temperatures that orchids from the philipines like, you would be surprised. Some of them enjoy extreme day-night temperature differences of up to 20°C. So these cosmopolitan inverts are pretty tough.
