The Blondi breeding project has begun!!
This is my 8 1/2" female mating. It wasn't a bad pairing but usually the first one isn't successful. There was no aggression, everyone behaved themselves. The second time they paired together, she didn't seem as interested. I may modify her den a little to give them more room - she seemed to want to stay right by her hide even though she has half of a 125gal tank. Next time I'll wait until she's out of her den before introducing the male. The male was very much ready to mate...there will be more pairing videos. We'll be pairing 'Zilla - our big 10 1/2" girl - in the next few days...hopefully we're not looking for another MM afterwards. She's a big girl!

Well I decided to give my new male a chance he did great (Thanks, Fluke)....this male is very eager to mate....and I beleive he was successful. I mated him with my new 9" female (female #3) and my 8 1/2' female (female # 1).....I will let him try with my huge female tommorrow (female # 2). I also have some footage of him tapping so newer members can see what it looks like, I hope you enjoyed.....rob

Well I mated my largest female T.Blondi and it went well, this MM is awesome (Thanks, Fluke) he is very eager and not very intimidated, every other male was by this girl and I don't Blame them.

Well I mated them again, female 1 was not responsive at all I beleive she is gravid (abdomen very wide not tall). Female #2 is my massive girl, I saw a great insertion and of course they did it between video's (I want to get this on video). I did try to get a close-up but almost got nailed by the MM (He let me know I got to close)....but it was a very good video. The MM had made a sperm web the night before and the following day was at the divider trying to get to the female going nuts, he is now at the other side of the tank looking at female #3 and is starting another sperm web.

A.Sp "New River":


I decided to mate my female with one of the new mature males I got from Reptist. I believe it was successful - I saw a sperm pallet in her furrow (see pics).

Hopefully this one is sucessfull...we mated our female LP with another MM a while back but she produced a bad sac. Fingers crossed on this one!!

Well I mated my P.Irminias and it was quite interesting, as you will see in the video's the MM is quite forceful. The MM's leg is also fine as you will see. I saw a coulple good insertions and over all was a good mating.

Well I mated my female ## Blondi and caught half the insertion on tape, (sorry for some of the video wasn't pointed at the T, I was excited).The noise is my supplemental heater (LOL).This paring was very good IMHO.

Video of CB P. Fasciata laying an unexpected sac!

Well, I finally found out why my P. Fasciata has been hiding in her hollow log for the past month...she laid an eggsac this afternoon and it looks to be a good one! This is the Fasciata that had prolapse (as seen in pic below). She loves her hollow log and I think that's the key to all of this...she obviously felt very at-home there. There's a pic of her enclosure below as well...she's in the hollow log below the tree.

Starting another T.Blondi mating project (video)

Well both of my females have molted, the massive girl "Zila" will not be ready for 1 1/2 months but my other female "Sammy" is ready!!! She is about 1 moth and 3 weeks into her molt cycle, I was going to wait until she was 2 months but decided to mate her now. This is the female with the odd looking spot on her abdomen....but she is kicking the deformed spot off and I believe it is just a piece of molt or tangled hair and she is fine. Below is her mating video!!
