I was planning on using roaches as food for my tarantulas. I narrowed it down to P. Nivea, N. Cinera, and B. Dubia, then I decided maybe I should get more than one. Can any of these species live together? Cross-breed (probably not being from different genuses)? Or pose a problem as a food species?

from personal experience i don't find the P. nivea useful, unless they are for your huntsman or jumping spiders.

N. cinera are good for aboreal because they can climb smooth surfaces.
and B. dubia is a good species too.

I have never mix B. dubia with N. cinera before so i don't know if there is going to be any problem, and i doubt it.

In that case the N. Cinera would be good for my A. Avicularia. My G. Rosea however has no interest in chasing food, she'd prefer if it jumped in her mouth and killed itself for her. I suppose Dubias fit the bill for that and maybe even for my P. Cavimanus too. And my little C. Crawshayi can eat whatever nymphs he wants. I can always keep them in two tanks and try to mix a few of them in a little container to test it out. Now I just need to figure out a good time to get them.

I wouldn't mix colonies intended to produce viable amounts of feeders. Usually what happens when you do so is one species out competes the other for space and food. The more prolific breeder is the winner most of the time.

When I had P. Nivea, I had to keep them in a sealed jar to contain them. They are rediculous at escaping LOL. I would think you would need more space/ventilation for the others. Plus the lobsters are just going to overpopulate all the others. I don't think they would hurt each other, but it is a bad idea. If you are going to mix multiple species in one tank they should have a similar and SLOW breeding rate IMO.

Ideal roach for a small T collection.

Is there a roach that is ideal for supporting a small Tarantula collection? i.e. A 1" A. Versicolor and a 1" B. Smithi.

I'd like to avoid raising crickets and I don't plan on vastly expanding my spider collection. Any suggestions for possible feeding options?
