1. What is the largest roach in the world and where can you get it?

2. What are the roaches that run around florida espcieally Isle Marada?(spelling) *in the Keys*

1.)Megaloblatta longipennis...you can't

Macropanethesia rhinocerous...for $300 and finding the proper eucalyptus leaves

Blaberus giganteus...$4 apeice and I can give you the name of the (possibly two) site where you can buy them from if you shoot me a simple PM.

As for your second question...it could be anything. As usual, we'll need a pic for any abysmal hope of identification.

Oh well they look alot like you B dab somethings... I think they are called pallometo bugs.

u don't need exclusively eucalyptus leaves to feed them, they also eat gum and oaks, plus some domestic pet food too
also, G.oblongata is also one of the largest, can reach 110mm, will be established and getting more common soon

I think they are called pallometo bugs.
Palmetto bugs would be Eurycotis floridana, also known as the Florida skunch roach. This is one of my favorite species because it's the best smelling one. My colony smells like almonds. :drool:



But if that's not what you're thinking of, please remember that this is Florida we're talking about. There's not just one species of cockroach running around down there.
