Anyone know the going rate for Aussie rhino's in the UK all sizes?
I've seen an adult pair for sale at £100!! which is a bit steep if you ask me. (they went unsold, surprise, surprise)

That seems about right.... Here in the US, adult pairs run $350-$500/pr. Sometimes young yearlings/subadults pop up for ~ $125- $150 ea.

They are SLOW growing, long lived, produce a single litter ONCE a year, etc... that is why the prices are so high...

Yes their slow growing (except from hatching to 2" which they seem to reach in record time then they kinda hit a wall and slooooow right down LOL) but if they're (like my pair) producing around 8-12 babies a year I still think £100 is too much. Don't know why I'm moaning at this rate I can retire in a few years :D
The main reason I asked is a friends have just died and he asked me for some replacements and I didn't want to rip him off but I also didn't want to seem too cheap.
