I want to start collecting roaches. Never had one so all info is accepted. I just got back from the Ontario Science Center and they had some cool roaches. What are some large roaches? What should the setup be like? every bit of info is good

The largest roach in the pet trade is the Giant Cave Roach (blaberus giganteus) They like to rest on standing driftwood during the day, or bury under their substrate, height is important for them. They eat romaine lettuce, carrots, bananas, cooked hamburger meat, dry dog or cat kibble,peaches..etc...

Do they need a high humidity? Do I supply a water dish? What should I use for substrate? If I were to get a bunch of roaches and put them all in the same cage would they breed or is there something else I need to do for them to breed? Any lighting I need or heat?

Thanks for the info

They need to be misted once a day at least, a water bowl is optional, it must be shallow. Peat moss is a good substrate, but it molds, there are others too I just dont know them. No lighting, but they need to stay warm. (around 80 degrees)
If you had about 10 roaches they would eventually breed.

The OSC used leafs. How good are they? I was browsing a site called allroaches or something and they said the males will kill each other. But then how can a keep a group if the males kill each other? How do I breed? Do I just get 10 roaches and put them into a cage and let nature take it's coarse? Do I have to had in roaches to prevent inbreeding? How many eggs per female?

I'm not trying to be a wise-ass but have you used the search tab?
There has been an overwhelming number of fairly recent threads touching on most, if not all, of your questions. It's a lot of reading but the answers are all right here...
