Can anyone make a definite ID of this species?

This appears to be a nymph of Supella longipalpa, known as the Brown Banded cockroach. It is a common pest species in many parts of the world. However, if this is in South Africa, there are alternative species that may have the same appearance. Once it grows to full adulthood it would be more readily identifiable.

Thanks again. :)

I was concerned that it was a pest species by it's reaction to light and approach, so might have to give them the 'heave ho'....:rolleyes:
