ahh. ok.no, that's not a hybrid, it is just one of their morphs. I have a few and am trying to breed more of those.
I'm 100% sure they can't crossbreed.I am about 99.9% sure that they can't cross breed.
one example jumps to mind immedeately; jungle corns, Elaphe guttata x Lampropeltis getula?Nothing that does don have the same genus name can hybridize...
There are MANY inter-generic snake crosses that shouldn't be possible.one example jumps to mind immedeately; jungle corns, Elaphe guttata x Lampropeltis getula?
thanks for the replies, i believe the question was answered in the first reply, thanks KyuZo!
Jungle corns are snakes, not plants. They're a hybrid between corn snakes (genus Elaphe) and kingsnakes (genus Lampropeltus). If you do a bit of research on snake hybrids you'll find that many unexpected crosses have been achieved.please understand that plants and inverts are different.
although, things that hybridized un-naturally can be done by scientists. it is call G M O
