What does roach barrier look like when applied to tubs?

Reason I'm asking is that I bought some about 6-7 months ago but never used it. I am setting up a new tub/colony and wanted a bit of extra insurance but it looks like dried soap to me when it dries. Is that what it's suppose to look like?

Any help or pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Vasalline woks fine...they can't get past it. If it dries...it must be soaplike almost like liquid powder or something.

OK. It must be correct then, just expected it to be clear. Don't really want to try the 'Scurry up the side' test as my wife is freaked out that they're in the house to begin with. Escapees are not allowed!

I'm not sure. I bought it from Blarebus.com.

It's milky looking liquid you apply with a sponge.

I'll check that link out.
