Ok so I wanted to update everyone with what has been going on with the Rhode Island Invertebrate Rescue.
I am now listed under the R.I.S.P.C.A as the only invertebrate rescue in the state.
Things are still slow but I have already made a difference in the lives of a few Invertebrates already.
I have started some small tasks such as a raising my feeder crickets and soon I hope roaches. As well as building a collection of Habitat supplies and such as I can.
I am also building my own library of care sheets and other information as I can and adding them to the Myspace page.
I am also becoming known more and more.
With the help of my brother we have been going to different pet stores ad offering caresheets and other information to help them setup proper Habitats for the Invertebrates they are selling. This came after one place had Emp's set up in a desert enviroment and could not understand whay they had lost 6 out of the 8 they had gotten. The information they used to set up the habitat was given to them via their supplier.
I have built a Myspace page and am looking into other ways to get the word out. RI Invertebrate Rescue
Well that is about it for now. I wanted to thank everyone for their support.
