ReptoLife plus, recommended?

While vacationing in Florida, I ran across a small pet store and decided to check if it had Rep-Cal to bring back for my Pyxie frog. I was looking for vitamins, and was sold this ReptoLife plus. It's a light brownish powder complete with "multi-vitamin and mineral formula PLUS, color enhancers (whatever those are) and anti-oxidants." Is this stuff OK for my frog?

I'm interested in opinions on this stuff too. I sent someone after a supplement for me several months ago, and that is what they returned with. Their choice was apparently limited at the time.

I've been using it and so far have noticed no ill effects, but I have no idea whether it is doing any good either. So far my frog seems to be doing okay on it though. However, I don't think Tera Fauna products have the best reputation in the world and I'm a little concerned. Even their own ad copy seems to indicate that it isn't a stand-alone supplement but suggests that it is "A perfect compliment for ReptoCal ". If I want a higher quality supplement, I'll probably have to get it through mail order.

Not many people seem to know about this:?.

In any case I'm not going to use this product by itself. I do supplement my frog's good with two other calcium powders, one with D3 and one without. I just didn't give her any supplements the last time I fed her and figured some multi-vitamins (which I haven't tried yet) would be a good idea.

I need to pick up a good calcium supplement when I get the chance. Don't want to have to deal with MBD in the future. Like I said, so far he's shown no ill effects from the use of the Reptolife stuff, which is all the endorsement I'm qualified to give it. For the moment, it's a situation of something is better than nothing, I guess. At least that's my hope.
