So, looking for some opinions,
Both my mom and I work at a local pet clinic (my mom a vet tech and me working kennels), and my mom (and some of the other techs) are thinking of putting together a reptile class. It's heartbreaking and fustrating having so many people come in with their dying reptiles because they don't know how to care for them. And while you may think "well they should research before they buy" and I completely agree, not all the information is out there. Here in omaha our water is toxic to reptiles and fish and have to use a chemical treatment to make it safe, yet you cannot find this information online or in books and must rely on the pet store to inform you, and more likely than not they won't tell you. Plus along with basic care it may include some medical care and tips.
So the question is, do you think a reptile class would be a good idea/successful, and how much would be a reasonable charge for a one day class?
