What substrate do you guys prefer whether it be the two brands mentioned above or a custom blend?
My wife and I have been using Repti-soil for 2 years now with no issue, and my local Tarantula store now as of late carry's Biodude Terra Aranea.
I bought some and I am thoroughly impressed by the blend of ingredients, and consistency

If you guys use the Aranea what's your experience with it?

What's your experience with Repti-soil if you use it?

I appreciate any feed back!
Thanks so much Josh.

I personally use Reptisoil. I have heard that Aranea holds a better burrow but I don't have first hand experience. Reptisoil seems to do fine for me and many others. I guess it would depend on cost. Reptisoil is cheap for how much you can get. So? Idk. Up to you and your wallet.

I really like Biodude but it is expensive. I can’t remember if I have ever tried reptisoil but I have used Creature Soil which was somewhat similar to Biodude.

You can fill a 10 gallon aquarium with biodude substrate by buying reptisoil, coco choir, sphagnum, and vermiculite.
