I have introduced my T. blondi pair a few times in the past couple of weeks. Last night I put the male in with the female again and it was so fascinating to watch. They really seem to enjoy each others company (haha) and spent over an hour together last night. My question is, if my female blondi becomes gravid, what is the approximate period of time it takes for the eggs to develop into spiderlings? Also, does anyone have any experience with the females of this species eating or destroying the sac? Yes, I am not quite there yet but I am trying to be prepared for the best (a successful mating and subsequent viable spiderlings).

Thanks to any and all for advice.

Hi, he slings will be ready to come out at about 3 months time. It would be best for you to move her off into a room with little disturbance as possible. Also, she would be able to hold out those 3 months without any food, and would be less chance of disturbing her.
