I’ve had roaches release Oothecas before, but the one this one is aborting looks different so I just wanna make sure everything is all good. IMG_4308.jpeg IMG_4305.jpeg

Ive never seen one like that , but as long as it doesn’t get stuck it’s fine.

Yeah strange looking for sure but should be fine. Maybe because it wasn't fertile it looked like that?

I think she got the majority out, but it still seems like a bit is stuck. Is there anything I can do to help her along? IMG_4317.jpeg

Could be- though I've had other girls drop before who weren't kept with males. Those oothecae didn't look like this either

Don’t know my dubia that had this problem died I couldn’t remove it with tongs. Hopefully yours survives.
After about 20 minutes I was able to gently pull the stuck Ootheca out of her abdomen. Thank you for the advice, fingers crossed she will be able to pass the rest, if there is any.
