very nice

Very nice looking spider. Mine didn't begin its burrow or eat for about a week, and I never saw it constructing the burrow or manipulating the door before it disappeared down the hole. However, its now settled in and has never turned down food (about one large cricket a week). It also likes to prop open the lid of the burrow about a half centimeter and hang out, presumably waiting for a snack. Have you seen yours spray its poop yet? I walked in on mine a few days ago with its abdomen straight up out of the burrow and a brand new dark spot on the ceiling of its enclosure. They are really sweet spiders, I'm waiting on mine to molt to hopefully sex it.

lol, no. I was unaware that they spray like that.. how strange.. I also did not get the pleasure of seing mine build a burrow. When I transfered it from the container I got it in I transfered its burrow that was already made with it inside.. it was a very easy transfer.. I just dug a hole, plopped the old burrow with spider inside in the hole and filled in around the edges.. the spider never even came out to see what was going on...
