I just caught one of these, I don’t know much about their care so feel free to comment on what I should do!

I have blue tail skink in my area. Based on behavior and location I see in the wild. I would assume a 10gal tank, keep it dry, and provide plenty of substrate as they spend a lot of time burrowed. Maybe like a substrate that is a compact-able sand so tunnels can be made. I’d imagine a basking side of 90F with an ambient temp of around 80F. Water bowl. I’d imagine humidity around 50-60. Nothing too high but just enough to help with shedding. Feed small insects like crickets. (This is not a guide, just what I’d imagine the requirements would be based off of habit)

Ok, I will be getting it a heat lamp tomorrow and it already ate 3 crickets 🙂

I used to keep them as a kid. However.... the deal was I could keep them for a month then had to release my critters back into the wild. So for long term care, I’m not certain on my statements above. But they seemed fine for that timeframe I kept them. Not sure if it will need calcium supplementation however. Hopefully an expert will chime in.
