i just started a roach colony a few months ago and so i dunno if this is normal. i was looking at one big roach and it was crapping or something this red cylinder thing? wth is that. egg sack? molting? turds?


and still no cam so my drawing is as good as your gonna get on a visual picture

It's an ootheca, or egg pouch. It's rather common to see a female "letting it breath" in larger colonies.

If you read the original thread, the OP was asking what the ootheca was because they didn't know.
