red eared slider HUGE cheeks

My red eared slider turtle's cheeks are HUGE! I don't know what's wrong with her, but I am going to take her to the vet. I am just wondering if anyone here knows what could be wrong? She seems a little less active and is still eating, but not much. I also think she is haveing truble putting her head back into her shell.

Sounds like abscesses of the middle ear (Aural abscesses). The vet will most likely lance them. If that is the problem, it is fairly common and most exotic vets will have seen it before.
