At the moment I keep them in a plastic tub with moist eco earth and a large water dish with freshwater but I might try using brackish water just in case but at the moment I'm using freshwater which they actively submerge themselves in Edit:I acquired them from a small pet shop near my areaGood find! Thank youThey do look very similar to Red Claw Crabs (Perisesarma bidens), which are usually the kind of crab you find in local pet stores aside from hermit crabs. They prefer brackish water to my knowledge.
If not, @Elytra and Antenna may be able to shed some light on which species it is.
