My dad's expressed interest in getting a chameleon some day. He has some limited herp experience -- having kept various turtles at one point -- but not for some time now. His birthday's coming up and I'd like to get him some books on chameleon care. I know chameleons require a significant amount of specialized care, so I want him to be well informed should be decide to acquire one.
My question is, are there any books in particular that anyone would recommend? Amazon reviews are proving quite ambiguous (I never can tell if those $5 softcovers are worth anything). I'm looking for something more advanced (and reliable) than those chincy books one would pick up at Petco.
